Ali Dowlatshahi is an Iranian born artist whose gallery is located in Stamford, Connecticut. His works and fans range from political royalty to pop culture personalities. Mr. Dowlatshahi’s work is often described as “intricate, love-laced and politically charged.” He carefully renders designs from original masterpieces and is in public and private collections around the world. As to his subject matter his artistic motifs include floral patterns, geometrics, arabesques, mythical creatures, rosettes, paisley patterns, palmettos, medallions, border and marginal decorations, scrolls, curves, and hunting scenes that embody the sumptuous detail, rich texture, and elaborate ornamentation that constitute the glory of Persian art.
