{"id":102754,"date":"2022-04-08T08:20:16","date_gmt":"2022-04-08T13:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/PERSIAN-HERITAGE.COM\/?p=102754"},"modified":"2022-04-08T08:20:16","modified_gmt":"2022-04-08T13:20:16","slug":"poems-by-caspar-mcnaulty-3rd-grade-9-years-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/PERSIAN-HERITAGE.COM\/en\/2022\/04\/08\/poems-by-caspar-mcnaulty-3rd-grade-9-years-old\/","title":{"rendered":"Poems by\u00a0Caspar McNaulty \u2014 3rd grade, 9 years old"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SPIDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>You the real Black widow, the hero<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>of the bugs, you eat many gross<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>things like mosquitos and slugs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Without you we would be bitten by<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>mosquitos in the air,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>without you there would be mosquitos everywhere!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Some have cool designs,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>but as deadly as pretty and <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>sometimes even more, you are very<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>help but deadly to the core<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>BEES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Your movements so merry, your body<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>so hairy, as you flap your wings, <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you do your buzzing sound and sing!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Hundreds of you sit in your hive,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>the whole bee family seems to thrive!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Your flying makes me cheer up,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>as you collect nectar from your<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>buttercup.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Your color makes my eyes feel hazy,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>as you land on a daisy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>You are such a pretty site,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you make the sky irrupt from light!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>HUMANS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>We have done stupid acts, but that does not stop us in our tracks,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>although we keep going,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>our mistakes keep showing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The smartest and the dumbest,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>the worse and the best,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>it\u2019s good to care about our problems,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>but some people couldn\u2019t care less. This is one of the reasons we are dumb,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>when it comes to nature<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>our bodies <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>just turn numb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>FLOWER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Your petals so hazy, rose, tulip, daisy<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>as you swing in the spring wind,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you seem to cheer us up,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>sunflower, carnation, buttercup<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The prettiest plant of all,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you send out your call,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>to all the bees in the world,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>to come get nectar<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>from my inside, I made it just for!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But you have to do something<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>for me too!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SUN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The source for all living things,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>though you keep staying,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>without you we would freeze,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>freeze in the winter breeze.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Without you<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>we would already be dead,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>all of the animals would go extinct,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>it would be a matter of days,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>before we would freeze and<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>not be able to say a phrase!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>You the food stealer,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>because of you we pack sealers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The strongest for its size,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>it should win a prize!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Thousands and thousands<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>in their nest,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>all of them seem to have<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>so much enthusiasm and zest.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To our surprise,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>they have six pack abs,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>they take your food<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>and drag it<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>into their underground labs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>GOLDFISH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>As we keep as a pet,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>your life goes to an end,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>your life seems to descend,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>as you flash in the water,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you seem not to grow,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>swimming around helplessly<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>in your not big enough bowl.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So lonely you are without a friend<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>and if you do have a friend,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>your friend\u2019s life will end.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>TREES<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>As your branches sway,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>how pretty you look in May,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you the one,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>without you we are undone.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The biggest of plants,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>though the calmest of them all,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>when you are in the morning sun,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you seem never to fall.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Most animals rely on you,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>you give us our air<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>we give you yours,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>your bark has the roughest pours.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SPIDERS You the real Black widow, the hero of the bugs, you eat many gross things like mosquitos and slugs.
