He also helped prepare the US president for his debates with Mr Biden earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>He singled out for criticism Sidney Powell, a lawyer who appeared with Trump&#8217;s legal team during a press conference on Thursday. She claimed, without providing evidence, that electronic voting systems switched millions of ballots to Biden, and that he also won thanks to &#8220;communist money&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>But on Sunday the Trump campaign issued a statement distancing themselves from Ms Powell, saying she &#8220;is practising law on her own&#8221; and was &#8220;not a member of the Trump legal team&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p><a class=\"css-yidnqd-InlineLink e1no5rhv0\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/1327811527123103746\">A tweet from President Trump earlier this month<\/a> explicitly named her as part of the team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>On Sunday other Republicans also urged President Trump to concede.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>Maryland Governor Larry Hogan told CNN on Sunday that the Trump camp&#8217;s continued efforts to overturn the election results were &#8220;beginning to look like we&#8217;re a banana republic&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-18mjolk-ComponentWrapper e1xue1i80\" data-component=\"media-block\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>In a post on Twitter, <a class=\"css-yidnqd-InlineLink e1no5rhv0\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovLarryHogan\/status\/1330581894841430017\">Gov Hogan said Mr Trump should &#8220;stop golfing and concede&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>Michigan Representative Fred Upton told CNN the voters in his battleground state &#8220;spoke&#8221; by choosing Mr Biden, while North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer said in an interview to NBC it was &#8220;past time to start a transition&#8221;, although he stopped short of accepting Mr Biden&#8217;s victory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-mysbf6-ComponentWrapper-CrossheadComponentWrapper e1xue1i82\" data-component=\"crosshead-block\">\n<h2 class=\"css-1jlqpzd-StyledHeading e1fj1fc10\">What has the Biden camp been up to?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>Joe Biden has been pressing on with plans for office, despite President Trump&#8217;s refusal to concede complicating the transition process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>Ron Klain, Mr Biden&#8217;s choice as White House chief-of-staff, again urged the Trump administration to kick-start the handover.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>&#8220;A record number of Americans rejected the Trump presidency, and since then Donald Trump&#8217;s been rejecting democracy,&#8221; he told ABC News.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"css-uf6wea-RichTextComponentWrapper e1xue1i81\" data-component=\"text-block\">\n<div class=\"css-83cqas-RichTextContainer e5tfeyi2\">\n<p>He also revealed that the Biden campaign was preparing for a &#8220;scaled-down&#8221;
